My name is Andrew Hachten! I grew up in Central Pennsylvania and attended Drexel University where I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Engineering in 2016. Since then I've lived in Philadelphia, Boston, and Brooklyn and have worked as a full-stack engineer at multiple startups.

My dedication to software engineering is centered on designing user-friendly and intuitive sites, aiming to simplify the lives of those who interact with them.

I'm also an avid baker and D&D Dungeon Master. Much like my software engineering philosophy, my approach to baking involves constant iteration and improvement of recipes and techniques. I started DMing my first serious D&D campaign partly as a way to get friends to taste test my experimental baked goods. That quickly evolved into a genuine passion for the storytelling, planning, and roleplaying aspects that D&D has to offer.

My love of software engineering, baking, and Dungeon Mastering are all rooted in my passion for helping others. Whether it's writing a human-centric UI, baking a batch of tiramisu cupcakes for a friend, or weaving the narrative for my next D&D campaign, putting others first is my guiding principle.
